Shocking Turn of Fate of How I Found Love Again After a Decade of Heartbreak

My name is Mary Otieno, and I come from Kendu Bay in Homa Bay County. Ten years ago, the love of my life walked out on me.

Just like that without a warning, without a reason. We had been together for years, and I had already pictured our future: a wedding, kids, a home. But in a moment, that dream vanished.

The pain was unbearable. I cried myself to sleep most nights. I kept hoping he’d come back. That maybe he just needed space.

But days turned to months, and months to years. I watched everyone else move on, start families, build homes while I stayed stuck, nursing a wound I couldn’t talk about openly.

There were days I blamed myself. Maybe I wasn’t enough. Maybe I should’ve done more to keep him. The loneliness was heavy.

Friends tried to set me up on dates, but my heart wasn’t ready. I had built walls so high, no one could reach me. Deep down, I had accepted that maybe I was meant to walk this life alone.

But something changed in June last year. I met a woman I hadn’t seen since high school. We bumped into each other in the market.

She looked radiant so full of life and when she asked about me, I hesitated. I gave her the usual, “I’m okay,” but she saw through it.

Before we parted, she whispered something in my ear that stuck with me for days: “You still deserve love. Don’t give up yet.”

Curiosity got the better of me. That conversation kept replaying in my head. I reached out to her again a week later, and she told me something that would alter my life forever.

She introduced me to Love Spells by Kiwanga Doctors. At first, I was skeptical. I didn’t believe in such things. But she was so sure so confident. And I was so desperate for a fresh start.

I contacted them with a cautious heart. I didn’t expect magic. I just wanted peace.

But what followed was beyond anything I had ever imagined. Within a month, I began to notice changes.

My energy felt lighter, people responded to me differently, and out of nowhere, I started attracting attention from men I never thought would even look my way.

And then it happened. I attended a youth and leadership summit in Kisumu. That’s where I met him a well-known, vocal MP.

At first, I didn’t recognize him. He approached me like any ordinary man, polite and curious about who I was. We talked for over an hour, exchanged contacts, and something just clicked.

Over the next few weeks, we kept in touch. He invited me for tea, then dinner. We laughed, talked about life, and slowly, something beautiful began to bloom.

One evening, under the stars in Mbita, he held my hand and said, “Mary, I know what I want and I want you.”

I cried that night not because I was sad, but because I finally felt seen. After a decade of rejection, silence, and loneliness, someone valued me. And not just anyone a respected leader, someone with influence and a good heart.

Today, I walk with confidence. I smile more. My family is happy for me. My friends can’t believe it. And when people ask what changed, I simply say, “I took a chance on myself.”

Looking back, I’m grateful I met that old friend in the market. And I’m thankful I opened my heart again. Because if not for Love Spells by Kiwanga Doctors, I’d still be waiting, wondering, and hurting.

Love is real. Healing is possible. And second chances? They exist.
