She Dumped Me When I Was Broke, Now She’s Begging Me for Saloon Money.

I won’t sugarcoat anything, life had me in a chokehold.

I had a girl, Sandra. Smart, gorgeous, the kind of woman who turns heads. We met back in campus, and from day one, I thought she was ride or die. We didn’t have much, but we had each other, or so I thought.

Fast forward to life after graduation, things got real. Job hunting was a nightmare. I was applying everywhere, knocking on every door, but nothing opened. I was broke. Not just wallet-broke, soul-broke.

She started changing.

No more sweet words. No more encouragement. It was constant frustration. She’d look at me like I was just dead weight. One night after a silent supper of dry ugali and sukuma, she finally said it.

“I can’t suffer with you anymore. I want a man with a future, not a dreamer with nothing in his pockets.”

She packed her bags and left. Just like that.

The very next day, her status was full of champagne, brunch dates, and captions like “Soft life only.” That hurt more than anything she ever said.

I fell apart. Friends stopped calling. My landlord started threatening. I had nothing. I started avoiding people, staying indoors, pretending I was okay when I was dying inside. The shame of being “the guy who got dumped for being broke” was too loud.

Then one night, while scrolling aimlessly through Facebook, I saw a post from a man talking about how his life turned around after visiting Kiwanga Doctors. He said he was jobless, depressed, and blocked spiritually, until he got help.

I don’t even know why I clicked. Maybe it was hope. Maybe desperation. Either way, I saved the number.

The next morning, I called.

The person who picked up didn’t judge. They listened. I poured my heart out, the heartbreak, the humiliation, the feeling of being cursed. After a pause, he said:

“You’re not cursed. You’re carrying spiritual blocks from pain, betrayal, and rejection. We’ll help you cleanse and attract the wealth that’s already meant for you.”

He gave me a herbal cleansing mix to remove negativity, a special charm for wealth attraction, and a simple routine to follow for two weeks.

By day 4, I felt lighter. Like a burden had been lifted. On day 7, someone I hadn’t spoken to in a year called me with a job offer, branding work for his new shop. That led to another job. And then another. Within a month, I was making consistent money.

Today? I run my own small business in printing and design. I’m stable. I’m confident. I even bought myself a second-hand car. I’ve glowed up in every way.

And Sandra?

She viewed my statuses. She saw me post outside a hotel in a suit one day. The next day “Hey… wow, I see you’re doing well. Can I borrow something small for my hair appointment?”

The audacity.

But I didn’t even reply.

To every man who’s been dumped, laughed at, or broken because of financial struggle, don’t give up on yourself. Your story isn’t over. I was at rock bottom, and now I’m rising.
